(paraphrased) When we choose the humility and courage it takes to go there, the healing and alchemy can begin. I have found that a well-placed prompt dislodges resistance to seeing beyond the wounds and see the healing. I have also found that prompts are like a guides that set us on the right path of truthing. My Oracle Prompt Cards are born of this essence. May you receive them well.
Something to think about…
A condensed definition of “oracle” is: One who is wise, authoritative, or highly regarded; a divine revelation. And I believe each one of us has this within. It’s that “still small voice”, it’s the knowing, it’s the clairvoyant, it’s the great mystery. My favorite explaination of “prompt” is: To assist with a reminder; remind. And I believe that all healing paths lead to the remembering that you are more than your wounds, pains, and violations…and that sometimes we need help or a swift kick in the ass to own our shit and end our stories in medicine. the full definition of prompt can be found HERE.

A a self-proclaimed free-range human, I do things differently. You won’t find this a super-salesy page. It’s as simple as…do you want something new and different to oracle with? Origin story…
Well, if we start at the beginning, we’d have to go back to childhood where I was often shamed for being rebellious and non-conforming. These innate qualities followed me into life, work, witchcraft, shamanism, bible study, healing, and how I see the world. I learned the tarot spreads, but never felt that it was a delivery system for my inner wisdom…and yet, I loved pulling cards. I took to others’ journey or journal prompts well enough, but felt they didn’t ask the question that opened the door to the deeper paths…and yet found great support and healing from the act of prompting. I think for myself, and can flesh out multiple perspectives…and yet I still want that spiritual guidance to do what is good and right and true.
Along the way…
Part of my rebellious and non-conforming nature seems to be a curious ability to see…or feel…what questions to ask that shake up whatever needs shook. I found myself going to my tarot cards or my journal and listening to my inner wisdom for what questions to ask. And so, I used this when I would pull cards for my circles of women…it added an element of surprise, authenticity, and FUN! I also found in private alchemy sessions that I could sense there was an unsaid thing and I could just listen for the prompt or question that would bring it out for my client to heal herself with. Inquiry is essential to critical thinking, objectivity, understanding, and healing. We often need to see something we haven’t before, and we can’t do that without asking the right questions. My prompts build a better relationship to inquiry, sacred listening, and freeing oneself from their carcassed agreements.
So, now…
I went through my journals, notes, and oracles to gather 69 prompts that wanted to be made into an offering. And there is one wild card that when you pull it, you may wonder where the fuck that came from…and it’s a funny story. (Trickster medicine…reminding us to have fun as we rewild our wholeness and make medicine from poison) Below I share some of the ways I use these cards, and this section will grow as I feel inspired to share more. Or you can share with me how you are using them too!

My teaching style is this: “I am not a teacher, I am a mirror…and in the reflections, you will learn”. Therefore, the best way for me to teach you how to use these cards, is by letting you see my raw and real showing us as the teaching mirror for you to take what you need and leave what you don’t.

Something else to think about…
Free-range humaning invites us to learn…unlearn…and create from the wisdom within. This means, as you use these cards, and new ways come to you in that still small voice…you get to create a way to use them! Once upon a time, someone had to “make up” that song we now sing as sacred. Someone had to “make up” the tarot spread that is used and taught to all. I posit that the “making up” is a voice from Great Spirit and it’s not limited to the ancients. We are all ancient to someone down the road…so if that “still, small voice” speaks a new way to you…you have the right to rise it up within you and make it yours.
